About
As a fourth-generation Colorado native,
Glenna grew up in Adams County when
her family moved there in August 9, 1979,
and has spent her life building deep
roots in the community she now seeks
to serve. She attended Roush Elementary,
Clear Lake Middle School, and Iver C.
Ranum High School.
After graduation, her career began through
the Adams County Summer Youth
Program working in the Aid to the Needy
Disabled & Old Age Pension Department.
When the program ended she was asked
to stay on through the end of the year
as they loved her quick learning ability
and her willingness to work above and
beyond.
On January 1, 1988 she was hired full time to
work for the next 8 years in the Employment
First Program helping Adams County
government recipients obtain gainful
employment. During that time she also
volunteered as a victim advocate with the
Adams County Sheriff Department. After
years with Adams County she decided to
work in Finances.
With a State license she worked for Allstate
and Farmers Insurance Agencies. She then
went on to work for Decision One Mortgage
a subsidiary of HSBC, the 3rd largest
bank in the world. At Decision One her
monthly responsibility was handling
millions of dollars in home loans. As a
part of the home loan process she
reviewed thousands of appraisals from
Colorado Appraisers throughout the
State of Colorado. Appraisals were
submitted for approval giving her years
of experience in all types of property values.

EXPERIENCE
For the past 10 years, Glenna has worked in
the Assessor’s Office, where she has
set up over 1,200 new subdivisions,
adding them to the county tax roll.
As a result, she has created
close working relationships with the people and
cities within Adams County.
Glenna is committed to accountability,
transparency, and strong public
service. She understands how property
valuation decisions affect families,
homeowners, and businesses. She will
work to ensure residents are treated fairly
while protecting taxpayer interests. Her
hands-on experience gives her the
practical knowledge needed to lead the
office effectively and implement State
valuation guidelines in a responsible way.
